Influence of polymers to reduce dust
Šubrt, Michal ; Mravcová, Ludmila (referee) ; Vávrová, Milada (advisor)
The main issue this bachelor thesis deals with the reduction of emit into the enviroment. A specific type of polymer compound from Canadian provenance will be tested for this purpose. The aim of this work will be the identification of positive characteristics of the polymer, and determine to the appropriate method of application. The above mentioned reduction of dust, stabilization of areas after application, possibly reduction of its permeability and increase of its maximum dry density will also by measured.
Improving the parameters of the prototype of self-loading water sweeper superstructure
Vraspír, Kamil ; Trávníček, Petr (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This thesis explores development stages of a Self-loading water sweeper superstructure prototype. The theoretical part describes thoroughfares in terms of pollution, various types of cleaning machines currently in use and a detailed description of the FMEA method, which was used for identification of potential failure modes and risk mitigation. Stages of measurement and superstructure parameter improvement are proposed, executed and described in the practical part. In these stages, creation of model documentation, verification of functionality and stage of analysis FMEA are included. Furthermore, this section describes the results of tests devised to validate key superstructure parameters. The result of the work is a functional Self-loading water sweeper superstructure prototype, confirmation of key superstructure functional parameters and a draft of a series of improvement measures aimed at eliminating potential risks associated with operation of the superstructure.
Quantitative analysis of actinolite in the Pilsen Basin area by X-ray powder diffraction
Chlupáčová, Monika ; Havlíček, David (advisor) ; Nižňanský, Daniel (referee)
Increased concentration of suspended particles of the PM10 fraction, transportation and construction industry have serious impact on health. In Pilsen, the Air Improvement Programme in Pilsen Municipality takes place in accordance with the Pilsen Municipal Development Programme, the Regional Emissions Reduction Programme of the Pilsen Region and the National Emissions Reduction Programme of the Czech Republic. This thesis aims on determining the content of actinolite, azbestos mineral from amphibole group, in the samples from the Pilsen Basin. Altogether 23 samples from Pilsen municipal area were measured using the quantitative analysis method and X-ray powder diffraction. The actinolite content was determined in the samples.
Magnetometrical and spectrometrical analyses of fly ashes from the areas with emissonal air pollution mainly from automobile traffic (near Prague's D0 motorway) and from industry (near Ostrava's iron-mills) with a use of meteorological data
Hrušková, Gloria ; Petrovský, Eduard (advisor) ; Kletetschka, Günther (referee)
The content of analytical part of this thesis is the study of airborne dust samples collected in places with its higher concentration: by the Prague Ring (D0 motorway) and near the Ostrava's iron-mills. In both places, automobile transportation or industrial production are the primary sources of particulate matter emissions in the air. Received samples of PM1, PM2, PM10 a TSP filters were obtained by a standard air pollution monitoring procedure. This study examines the relationship between the magnetic parameters of the samples, their level of concentration of metals frequently present in emissions from these sources, the total mass of the dust fraction in the samples and the meteorological parameters (for Ostrava samples). The magnetic properties of the filters were investigated by magnetometric analyzes using a vibration sampling magnetometer. The concentrations of the metals were monitored by X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, the weight of parts of dust filtres was measured on laboratory scales.
Vyhodnocení vyprodukovaných emisí pachových látek a prachových částic frakce PM \dindex{2,5} z intenzivního chovu drůbeže
PETR, Jan
The aim of this thesis was to make the evalution of the produced emissions of odorours substances and dust particles of PM 2,5 fraction from intensive poultry farming. Measurements were implemented according to the valid methodologies in poulty farm which is in Sudoměřice u Bechyně.

Emise tuhých znečišťujících látek v chovu hovězího dobytka
PETR, Jan
In this thesis there are presented the values of air pollution by separated solid pollutants of size 10 microns (PM10) in carrying out almost daily activities in selected areas of the two stables, which one of them is based on the economy of manure and the second one is based on housing on the deep bedding. The measurement was done in two selected entirely different stables with different ways of breeding of cattles and different technological processes and expected differences in the values of airborne dust. The measured values and the comparison of the results show that several factors have influence on air pollution in stables. The main factors are the way the technology is used in the stables, the type and characteristics of bedding, difference of work of individual machines and other significant factor is the total transit time of mechanization through stables.
